Pinniped, or "feather foot" is the the scientific name for the family of marine mammals including seals and sea lions. Lorna's lifelong love of marine mammals, particularly seals, led to this design.
This pendant features a hand-cast antique motif, set with a glowing lab created ruby gemstone. Its shape is evocative of the hind flippers, or "feather feet" common to the loud and playful seals in the Pinniped family.
