This pendant was formed with thousands of pounds of hydraulic force, until the raw material took the shape of a design hand carved into steel about a hundred years ago, by an unknown artist.
This necklace would make a lovely necklace to honor someone special who is active in dog rescue, veterinary medicine, training, or who has otherwise spent their life in the friendship and loyalty of dogs.
This design was most likely used for medals presented at dog shows in the early 20th century. The pendant hangs from an 18" gold plated tourmaline gemstone chain.
