I created this pendant from a sheet of jeweler's brass. The metal was pressed with thousands of pounds of hydraulic force, until it took the shape of a design hand carved into steel by an unknown artist about a hundred years ago.
This design was most likely used for medals presented at dog shows in the early 20th century. I felt it would make a lovely necklace to honor the friendship and loyalty of dogs.
The pendant hangs from an 18" gold plated tourmaline gemstone chain.
