Spring, 2025

The first few months of 2025 have been tough for Los Angeles. We are extremely fortunate to be outside the scope of the fires that devastated Altadena and the Pacific Palisades, but the city is going to be in a state of recovery for some time.

Our marine wildlife is also in trouble, with a severe domoic acid toxicity event happening off the Los Angeles coast. Our local rescue centers are inundated. If you feel called to help, here are links to two wonderful organizations that help our marine mammals:
